JUST ONE

He was confined to a pit of death by the jealousy of his own brethren. Potipher’s wife tried to kill him with her lust. The Pharaoh wanted to cut his head off. The Devil was incessant in his pursuit of the young man whom God had packed so full of possibility, the young man who would save the 70 surviving members of his family. But Joseph was “One” man of God who would not be denied his divinely ordained destiny.

In time, Satan would try to destroy the entire band of two-five million Jewish Gypsies as they circumnavigated the Arabian Desert.

But before he ever attempted to murder the 12 Tribes, he focused all of his killing talents upon the “ONE” baby who would lead them out of bondage and toward the Promised Land. Therefore, it becomes painfully apparent that:

Before the Devil can kill a movement, he must first kill its One main motivator.

Before the Devil can kill a family, he must first kill its One spiritual head.

Before the Devil can kill a church, he must first kill ONE pastor.

Before the Devil can kill a revival, he must first kill ONE prayer warrior.

Before the Devil can kill a choir, he must first kill ONE choir director.

Before the Devil can kill a Sunday School Class, he must first kill ONE teacher.

Because they had been previously victimized by the supernatural strength of ONE, Delilah had to connive with the Philistines to destroy One Samson.

Because they had already been humiliated by One extraordinary, God fearing, slingshot toting, rock slinging, giant killer, the same Philistines put a price on David’s head.

Herod sent out a platoon of Soldiers to kill all the boy babies before Jesus celebrated his 3^rd. birthday on Earth.

ONE Ananias baptized Saul of Tarsus, who became the Apostle Paul, the greatest Foreign Missionary who ever lived.

ONE Peter preached a Pentecost message that ushered 3,000 souls into the Kingdom.

ONE Mary gave birth to the Savior of the World.

ONE Jesus Christ defeated Death, Hell and the Grave in about 6 Hours on a cross.

No wonder Satan prodded the ungodly to have babies murdered, prophets assassinated, Messiahs hung on crosses. The Devil knows that, if that ONE man, that ONE woman, that ONE young person ever makes a decision to turn their back on the World and serve Jesus Christ with all of their Heart, Mind, Soul and Strength…They have the explosive potential to incite a spiritual earthquake that will shatter the kingdom of hell, and shake loose the chains from millions of lost souls shackled in the Devil’s dungeon.
